Last time out

This is usually the time where I write about previous matches we’ve had against Watford, but this going to be the first match we play against them, we’re stepping into the unknown.

Looking ahead

We head into the match on Sunday with Saints sitting in 3rd place in the table with 9 points, Watford 11th in the table and just 5 points

behind us. We come of the back off a very frustrating loss to Birmingham, after they scored 3 goals against us, we scored 1 but in the dying minutes of the game. Hopefully, they’ve learned from the loss that happened last Sunday and it pushes and focuses us to go for it, all gun's blazing on Sunday. Fingers crossed to a good few goals, collecting those 3 points and remain at the top half of the table, if odds go in our favour, maybe, just maybe, top.

Following the promotion back into the championship, Watford have signed 8 players as well as having 3 dual-sign agreements, they’ve also had 6 departures within the team. So that being said, Watford, have had a big

shake up with their players, I wonder how signing those new players will impact their play. I expect it’s going to be a competitive match showing a lot of experience and skill, time will tell as the match unfolds this Sunday.

Watford have lost 3, drawn 1 and won 1 of the matches that they have played thus far, with the last 2 being a loss, they are going to be gunning to bounce of those losses and bag their second win of the season. Hopefully though, our strong Saints squad will not allow that to happen, and we get the goals in, dominate the match and get those 3 points.

One thing I can say for sure is that I am looking forward to the match Sunday, not only will we be visiting a new stadium and playing against a new team, but hopefully we will get to see some beautiful, strong and dominant football and come home with those 3 points!
