Charlton Athletic had a nomadic existence in their early years after forming in 1905 but finally settled at The Valley. It was built in 1919, in part by a group of Charlton fans. For many years, The Valley was one of the largest stadium’s in Britain at around 75,000.

TICKETS
PRICES: Adults: £10 | Concessions: £5 Supporters are encouraged, where possible, to purchase tickets in advance - with match tickets subject to a £2 increase on the day of the fixture.

HOW TO GET TO THE VALLEY | TRAVEL
Train Charlton is the nearest station to The Valley and is just a three-minute walk away. Charlton station is served by trains travelling from London Cannon Street, London Charing Cross, Dartford and Gillingham. We advise fans travelling by train to plan their journey in advance. Tube North Greenwich station is the closest tube station to The Valley. Located right outside the O2 Arena, North Greenwich is served by the Jubilee Line and also has a large bus station with direct bus connections to The Valley. Bus London Buses 472, 486, 161, 177, 180 and 380 stop near The Valley. Some of these can be boarded from North Greenwich tube station, which is around a 10-minute journey from The Valley.
Parking
The West Stand car park will be open with limited spaces. Parking will be £3 per car, payments will be taken at the gate card only. The car park will be open from 12:30pm.
FAMILY ACTIVITY ZONE
They have plenty going on for families to enjoy before our game. The Family Activity Zone will open from 12:15pm
Here you can have your face painted as well as enjoy our fun facilities.
Our mascot Floyd will also be in ttendance so don’t forget to take a selfie, this will all be free of charge.
FOOD AND DRINK
The main West Stand food kiosk will be open with food and drink which will be available to purchase until the end of halftime.
