Latest Call Up's for the International Break For The Saints Women

As we are about to head into the international break the Saints have had a number of call ups here we look at who has been called up and when and where they will play,

Kayla Rendall and Ella Morris have been call up to the #lionesess under 23's and will be in contention to play against Portugal and Belgium.


Mo Marley has named her group for a double away trip in April

England women's under-23s will end their season with a double away trip in April to play both Portugal and Belgium.

Head coach Mo Marley has picked a strong squad of 24 players for the trip to take on two European rivals away from home. The Young Lionesses will first meet Portugal in Marinha Grande, on Thursday 6 April (4pm BST) before heading north to face familiar foes Belgium.

Marley’s squad welcomed the future Red Flames to Tranmere in February, winning 4-1 and will challenge the same opposition again in Genk on Monday 10 April (3pm BST). England, who are unbeaten in 2023 after also earning a goalless draw with Spain in February, previously met Belgium at U23 level in October 2021 away in Tubize, earning a 2-1 victory.





Megan Wynne and Alice Griffiths have been called up for the Welsh Squad #Cymru.


Wales will play Northern Ireland at Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday 6th April at 7:15pm BST, before travelling to take on Portugal at Estadio Dom Afonso Enriques in a 5:30pm CET kick-off on the 11th April.





The interim Northern Ireland senior women’s team coaching staff, led by interim manager Andy Waterworth, have selected a 23-strong squad for next week’s friendly against Wales in Cardiff.

Returning after missing the 1-0 friendly win over Italy back in November and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 qualifiers against Luxembourg and Latvia in September are attacking midfielder Rachel Furness, who is now with Bristol City Women, and Southampton Women defender Laura Rafferty.



Congratulations to lucia kendall who has

been called up to the #YoungLionesses squad Good luck in your upcoming Euro Qualifying matches.


Last time out for her country Lucia slotted a penalty away for England in a 3-0 win over Switzerland.
